Kunlun mountain is a holy mountain where Xiwangmu, the highest ranked goddess of Taoism, lives. She is the queen of the underworld, the goddess of life, death and transformation.

In this meditation you imagine your body as Kunlun Mountain. The meditation starts at the top of the body, from the most Yang element (fire), down to the most Yin (water) at the base of the spine. This means the elements do not necessary correspond with their organs. It should be Wood: Liver/Gall Bladder; Fire: Heart/Small Intestine/Pericardium/Triple Burner; Earth: Spleen/Stomach; Water: Kidney/Bladder. Particularly noticeable for me is the Wood element at the heart centre of this meditation.

The meditation is adapted from the Kunlun Mountain Meditation in Lorie Eve Dechar’s book Five Spirits. I’ve also added some information from Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture by Hicks et al. Plus I’ve added a bit of my own knowledge of NLP.
